When you look up the market price of gold (called the spot price) it is based on One Troy ounce of 24K gold.
A troy ounce is what is used to weigh precious metals, you need 31.1 grams for one troy ounce instead of the 28 grams that we are used to.
Gold comes in different karats, for example, 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k, 24k. We are also required to obtain an address, phone number, and we need to take a photo of you as well.
